How to use rosehip fruit, fruit, whole

Decoction of 1 tablespoon of rose hips with 250 ml of water, which is drunk as tea. The so-called "rosehip wine" is also used (1/2 kg of rose hips with 4-5 liters of water and 1/2 kg of sugar are kept next to the stove during frequent shaking. After one week it is filtered and drunk instead of water).

Rosehip contraindications

Do not take butter, syrup, and rosehip tea if you have gallstone disease. The active diuretic effect can cause movement of stones in the gallbladder and further obstruction of the ducts. The risk of such a complication is quite low, but the damage to health in the event of its occurrence is significant.

Rosehip side effects

Avoid the use of rosehip oil, infusion and syrup, whether the fruit, leaves or root have been used to prepare it, in severe cardiovascular disease. In this case, exposure to the vitamin K vessels contained in rose hips may be harmful rather than beneficial. If diagnosed with thrombophlebitis or with a tendency to form blood clots, use an infusion or syrup from any part of the rose hip. Vitamin K increases blood clotting and can therefore harm health by causing thrombosis
